You must plan your vacations well if you are going for cruise. Don't get carried away in all the excitement. Plan your vacation carefully so that everything turns out perfectly. There are some things which everyone remembers to carry on such trips like a camera, a CD player or an alarm clock. Be sure to put your electric razor (in case you use one) in your bag and not in its usual place before leaving for the cruise. However you must remember that all these items require batteries to work. So carry sets of batteries with you. More the number of batteries, the better it is.

You should never forget to make your medicines with you. Never forget to take your prescription medication. However, this is one thing which may people forget. Keep a copy of your prescription with you. You must always have back up in case some piece of luggage is lost. Keep an extra bottle of medication with you. It will be useful if the first bottle is lost. But remember to keep the two bottles in different bags.

You should carry at least two bathing suits. This is important for practical purposes and aesthetic purposes. It won't look nice if you wear the same suit every day. A suit will need time to dry up after it's used so it's better to carry two suits. You are likely to get two towels in the bathroom but you need to get your own towel in case you need large sized beach towels. Don't forget to carry sunscreen, some flip-flops and a pair of sunglasses.

Carry extra memory cards for your camera. You may also carry a notebook for writing down your thoughts as soon as they appear. You can call it a log and it will make you feel like a sea adventurer. You will have a complete memory of your vacation when you write down your impressions. This memory is much more than what you get from photographs or video. There's also another interesting aspect to this! People love reading cruise stories so you may actually get your thoughts published and who knows your book just might turn into a bestseller!
